Approaching her 5th year with DLP, Mandy Danish knows what it means to be a dedicated team member. Mandy recently earned a promotion as Investor Coordinator Team Leader, where she will handle all of DLP Capital Partners investors’ needs. Since starting in January 2016, her role with DLP has been everchanging. She worked part-time on the marketing team, then an executive assistant, and finally in Capital Partners as an Investor Coordinator.

Working remotely from Bethlehem, PA Mandy is able to collaborate with the DLP Capital Partners team, where she states, “Our team is awesome – even though we are small, we are mighty. We encompass core values of grit and being solution-focused, because if you aren’t working hard to reach your goals then you don’t have what it takes to be a part of the DLP Capital Partners team.”

We sat down with Mandy and discussed her time here at DLP:

What attracted you to DLP Capital Partners?
When I was originally starting to look for a job my goal was to branch out and work with a company that was growing and evolving, and DLP was just that. I applied and the interview ended up being with Founder and CEO, Don Wenner, where I had the opportunity to ask about his vision for the evolution of the company. I wanted to be a part of the future that he laid out and I’ve been here since.

Before DLP, I was on a completely different career path. I was involved in competitive horseback riding and professionally managed a string of horses. At one point I knew this career wasn’t sustainable, so I ventured into an array of different jobs. I worked jobs across the board from medical and legal transcriptions, marketing manager, and doing online and e-commerce marketing for a sporting goods company. All of this experience has led me to DLP where I have been able to do a little bit of everything throughout the company.

What are your greatest accomplishments?
I don’t feel like I have hit my greatest accomplishment yet. Throughout my career, I dabbled around in multiple industries and jobs that I am just getting a feel for where I want to end up. I continue to be challenged and every day at DLP there is something new to solve to keep me on my toes. I’m so happy to have found DLP when I did and that this adventure has evolved into what it is now, but I’m only getting started. Finding DLP may just be one of my greatest accomplishments.

A personal accomplishment I am so proud of is that I purchased a house about a year ago. Finally setting my roots, as we are beginning to undergo renovations and make the home our own.

What do you do when you’re not building and strengthening relationships with investors?
I love the outdoors, therefore lots of hunting and camping. One of my boyfriend’s interests is sprint car racing so we spend a lot of time at the tracks. Hopefully next March to November we are able to spend a lot more time at the races because this past year was affected by COVID. I also am obsessed with my Border Collies and spend time trick training them.
